I'm back...

After a week and a half break, I'm ready to start blogging again. I decided to focus on recovering over the last week and not add more to my to-do list. I'm glad I did as I feel pretty good, am back at work, and have more exciting things to post pictures of rather than chicken soup day after day. 

Today I'm at a training all day and had to fit breakfast in while waiting at stop lights. It was my usual breakfast of Scottish oats, granola, and almond butter. I also added a little cinnamon too.




I know it looks gross, but boy does it taste good! Remember if using the microwave to cook your oatmeal, to allow for expansion. I always use my biggest glassware bowl so that the oatmeal doesn't overflow and make a big, starchy, sticky mess. Those are the worst! 

I'm down 15 pounds and so happy! I have about 100 to go, but it's a good start. I felt so good this weekend that I bought a pair of skinny purple jeans! Found a cute top and that's what I wore to work on my first day back. So happy it's summertime! 

On a break from the training and sipping on a iced lowfat latte. Yum.
